Welcome! I study how social relationships and communication processes influence well-being.

I received my B.A. in Psychology, M.S. in Social Psychology, and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan. I then completed my postdoctoral training in Social Psychology at the Ohio State University.

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and a faculty associate in the Department of Psychology at the University at Buffalo, State University of Buffalo (SUNY).
